ℹ️ How to set up your OpenRouter API Key:

🌱 This application is 100% free and open-source. We do not collect any fees. Your API key is processed client-side and sent directly to OpenRouter; we never see or store it.

1. Go to the OpenRouter Keys Dashboard ↗ and create a new API key.
2. Model Configuration & Speed:
   • The default Free Model Routing is completely cost-free, but generation times can be slow due to shared public server loads.
   • If you want the game to generate stories **extremely fast**, select Auto Model Routing (Paid). You will need to add credits directly to your own **OpenRouter dashboard balance** to use paid models (e.g. a fast model costs less than $0.001 per story).
